Farah Joseph is a UK furniture brand specialising in handmade, made-to-order sofas, beds, and mattresses. We're based in West Yorkshire, where every piece is built once it's ordered — not held as ready-made stock in a warehouse, and not mass-produced ahead of time in a handful of standard options.
This way of working takes more time than buying something already sitting on a shelf, but it means what you receive was actually built for you — in the colour, size, and configuration you chose — rather than picked from whatever happened to be left in stock.
What We Make
Our sofa collection spans several ranges, each designed with its own shape and character, and each available in a wide choice of colourways so you're never limited to just a handful of stock options. Alongside our sofas, we also make beds — including ottoman gas-lift storage beds with custom headboard options — and mattresses designed to pair with them.
We also offer a fully configurable custom bed, where you can build your own from the ground up — choosing your own headboard style, fabric, size, and finish to create something made entirely to your own specification, rather than picking from a fixed set of options.
How Ordering Works
Every piece is made to order, built specifically to your chosen size, colour, and configuration once payment has cleared. Because nothing is pre-built, production and delivery take a little longer than buying off-the-shelf furniture — full delivery timings and details can be found on our Delivery page.
Our Guarantee
Every sofa comes with a 5-year frame guarantee. All furniture is delivered by a 2-person team, and everything we make meets UK fire safety regulations.
