Our Story

Farah Joseph was founded in 2019 by Farah Joseph, who moved from a background in interior design into furniture, with a simple aim: to make sofas and beds that feel as good as they look, built properly rather than mass-produced.

That shift from designing spaces to designing the furniture that fills them shapes how we work. Every piece is considered from the way a room will actually be lived in, not just how it photographs.

Made In-House

Our sofas, beds, and mattresses are made in-house, made to order for each customer. We don't hold a warehouse of pre-built stock in every colour and size — instead, each piece is built once it's ordered, which is why we ask for a little patience during production, and why no two orders are exactly the same rush job off a shelf.

This approach costs us convenience. It buys our customers a piece of furniture that was actually built for them, not picked off a container ship.

What We Believe In

Furniture should last. It should be comfortable enough to actually enjoy, and well-made enough that you're not replacing it in three years. We'd rather be a smaller brand that gets that right than a bigger one that doesn't.
